How ‘Devil Fish’ Invaded North America. Could Pet Treats Be The Solution? | True Cost | Insider News
The typical droning voice of a propagandist
I’m from Bangladesh, someone imported this fish and threw them in Buriganga river, this fish ate all of the other fishes and they r very dangerous as their population grows exponentially
Definitely something it would be a pet
It’s ugly. Yuck.
This vocal fry is insufferable
INVADED 🤣🤣🤣 Americans are so dramatic
Us humans are changing the entire world, the biggest issue is how fast we’re doing this, it can collapse the natural evolution process, devil fish may have ended up there in 50 million years but humans bring them and like within a few short years their way too popular. That’s like you slowly gain weight but instead instantly you gain 200 lbs and your body would collapse
Will never eat one but they would make dog food and fertilizer
Its a pleco
Why is it called a “devil fish?” Because it’s black?😒
It needs a new name first lol
You guys call it devil fish but in Vietnam we call it glass cleaning fish😂
Dog treats ✅
Fertilizer ✅
Cat food ✅
That’s not an invasive fish! That is an algae eater fish! They’re harmless fish that feed mainly on moss, algae, and plankton! Why kill such an innocent creature? It doesn’t even do any damage to the environment. Just another excuse for bullies to kill innocent fish. 😢
Ban all "exotic" animals. They are invassive species
Their meat is red 😮
That fish is very good to eat…
kote
Its very dangerous man
Why is it legal to send venomous spiders in boxes internationally? This needs to end
These fish are huge problem in south east asia too.
I mean, it’s an armored catfish. Put some batter on that fish and make some catfish nuggets 😋. I have eaten a lot worse than this.
I’d probably try lionfish and carp but I don’t think I can eat a Pleco tbh
In my country Plecos are deliciously cooked.
Waste rating fish. Living in dirty waters
Casually throwing back invasive fish because its not big enough to fillet yet ????
If I did that in the UK on camera 😂 I’m going to jail.
Devil fish ARE pets
@dunia badol fya
If it’s an invasive species why is he throwing the small ones back ??
Bro said it taste good because he need y’all to buy them!
I Hate fish!
in my region in Indonesia, this fish called Ikan Tokek or in english "gecko fish" because its can sucks so strongly on some surface using their suction mouth just like gecko using their legs to sticks on the wall. beside that, pattern on their body are similiar to commonly found gecko in Indonesia
Started in India?
Itu kalo di indonesia di bikin siomay
These would help lessen hunger and food insecurity. Since they are in such abundance, they should be inexpensive and could keep costs down to feed more of the homeless and poverty-stricken population.
These aren’t “known in the us as plecos” their scientific name is plecostamus & it’s annoying you never once mentioned that lol
Pet treats fertilizer for plants food for aquaculture there’s a lot of things to use junk fish for
Funny creature we are. I do really hesitate to it tilappia and avoid it. It is absolutely not native to where i live 😂
1:02 – Yes, human beings are extremely good at wiping out an entire species if we decide to.
De masiado
Sooo… the Mexican guy catches the fish, kills the fish, fillets the fish, dehydrates the fish, and then sends the fish to the other guy who puts it in an oven for ten minutes snd pours it in the bag? I wonder who makes more.
in indonesia its called sapu sapu
Huge waste to use it as dog food, the fish taste very good
Is that little joe at the beginning from the Angry Joe Show?
Damn you turned my pleco into a dog treat; well trump killed this with tariffs.
they suddenly rose hugely in south asian rivers too.. i guess this is the example of end times
Invasive species that has economic benefits. And it eats "only" algae. Sounds like tilapia to me.
Didn’t know about this fish until now. It’s very prehistoric-looking.
lol my school has 5
They are good fishes they looks they eat moss to clean water.
