I bought a cat tree for my ragdoll kity and a round sofftest pillow for her .she wont use it or go on any of them ..what do i do .im about yo donate them .if i dont see her using it ;( got her cat treats made with salmon even .she wont eat them .are ragdolls diff then other cats ..she seems to not want much toy stuff either .shes happy with an old paper from amazon packing and bird toy wand and laser light ..
You can’t let cats play unsupervised? So they have nothing if I leave for work? I googled it and it said to leave toys for them when I am away.
Why are the nails being trimed? If you have scratching poles for them. I’ve always had cats but have always looked at they need their nails. Is it better for the cat?
I just adopted a 7wk old kitten…9wks today. She’s a Scottish mix, brown , fluffy and beautiful YET she doesn’t like pets or affection 😂. So not fair!! I’m trying to stay patient as she’s not afraid of me and is super playful ❤ oh and did I mention she has copper/hazel eyes! Just so stinking CUTE❤ 🐈⬛

I’m getting a kitten in a week. I got almost all the stuff ready for her. Including a tooth brush. Because I have a very bad experience with a dog and badly brushed teeth, so I don’t want that again. How do I introduce a tooth brush in the best way for a kitten? I’m thinking first of all to wait until she trusts and knows me, so not for the first couple of weeks. And then maybe start slow and just quite quickly, just introduce it, and then slowly build it up to a routine…? 🤔
I am bring my fellow home today.. I have all the stuffs except the cat tree as his previous crap owner declawed him & has severely abused him.. Would you still recommend a cat tree?? How to I make the place feel more comfortable for him?? I do have set some base camp for in my room .. Should I give him a space that’s alone instead??
